Not every couple may be religious and that's ok!’  Reverend Ashby's  non-religious civil wedding ceremonies meet the desire and dreams of the couple for their ceremony vows. She is excellent storyteller who love's to speak words about love, dreams and the future, fairy tales and happy endings. She is never judgmental to anyone's beliefs.  Reverend Ashby will work close with you to write your dream ceremony.Reverend Ashby officiate's weddings in Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Buckeye, Avondale, Litchfield, Mesa, Chandler, Tempe, Apache Junction, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Fountain Hills, Flagstaff, Sedona, Payson, Prescott.

What ceremony do I choose? What do these mean?

There are quite a few choices when it comes to your ceremony and the words we choose to  speak. The ceremony will be written with the type of ceremony you choose with your beliefs (without if you want a Civil Ceremony). If you are Christian and want a religious ceremony, but not in the church we can do that! If you have an interfaith ceremony  Reverend Ashby will write the vows to include both beliefs into the ceremony. If you want to write your own vow's you may do so and Reverend Ashby will take care of the rest of the ceremony. She will go over these details when you meet. If you do not want any word's of God in your ceremony, We do that also! Reverend Ashby has you 100% covered.

There are so many tradition's out there it may be hard to choose. Reverend Ashby is here to guide you and give you that dream ceremony. Some popular traditions in ceremonies are the Unity  Candle, Sand Ceremony, Wine Box, and Jumping the broom. These traditions all symbolize two souls becoming one. These are all options to add in to your ceremony. You will need to provide the material and Reverend Ashby will provide the word's. To Have and To hold is very inclusive to adding member's of the family into the ceremony. For Instance, blending a family with children, you may want to use the sand ceremony and have the children pour sand in with you to represent the family becoming one. We did this at our wedding and the kid's loved it. They felt like an important part to the ceremony.

To Have and To Hold tries in every way to distinguish the ceremonies from other's. We feel your vows are very personal, real and from the heart unique and one of a kind. Reverend Ashby never uses the same ceremony twice. Each ceremony is carefully written to meet the couples desire and dream. We use eye contact, humor and include your guest ,family , friends into the ceremony. Words are spoken from the heart, as vows are sacred. Reverend Ashby also work's closely with Bilingual minister's or associates if you need a Bilingual ceremony. It will be spoken in  English and Spanish.

Schedule a meeting with Reverend Ashby for a free consultation. She usually will meet you at Starbuck's and will buy your drink! During this meeting we can go over the ceremony choices, traditions, time and date and the venue you have chosen. We will go through the steps and you will be able to visualize your ceremony. If you are at just the beginning of planning, no problem! She has many ideas from different wedding's and have lot's of experience in planning wedding's and ceremonies. She work closely with a group of vendor's that she can put in touch with you. These include Photographers, Dj's, venues, cakes, flowers, make up and hair, and many more.
